How Do I Search by Date?

Question: Because I am unable to view your website everyday I find myself using the "search this site" feature often to see what I have missed since the last time I was able to visit. This is great for looking at the daily layouts and toppers. But now that your list is getting longer it is difficult for me to remember which I've already seen. Would it be possible to add the date that these originally appeared on your website. It would make it so much easier to choose the date that I missed.

Answer:There is an easy way to search the site by date. Please use the following search method for searching by day: (Year)(Month)(Day). An example of this would be searching for the layout a day that appeared on April 20, 2001. To search for this layout, search for 010420. (01 for the year 2001, 04 for April, and 20 for the 20th).

How do I see previous daily features?

Question: I am not able to visit your website often enough to see all of the daily layouts. Is there a way to view the ones that I have missed?

Answer: The quickest and easiest way to find previously displayed layouts on our site is to type the section name in the search box in the upper right-hand corner of any page on the site and then click on go. A page filled with title topper titles should appear. Just click on the link and you will be taken to that page.

How to change your screen resolution

Question:The new look of Scrapbooking.com makes scroll bars appear everywhere and it is hard to see the site. Is there any way to fix this?
Answer:Yes, there is an easy way to get rid of the annoying scroll bars that appear on the site. The reason that the scroll bars have appeared is that your screen resolution is set to lower than 800x600 pixels.

To fix this:
1. Open the Display Properties dialog box. (This can be done by clicking on the start menu button then selecting "Settings" and finally clicking on "Control Panel". When the Control Panel has appeared, double click on the "Display" icon.

2. In the "Display Properties" window, click on the "Settings Tab" (in the top right corner of the window).
3. In the "Settings" window at the bottom right of the window is a slider bar titled "Screen Area". Click on the slider box and move it to the right until the number displayed beneath it is at least "800 by 600 pixels".
4. Click on the "OK" button. A window will appear to let you know that your screen's resolution will now change. Your computer may also need to restart to apply the settings, this is normal. Click "OK" After your desktop has resized itself, another window will pop up asking if you want to keep your new settings. Click "Yes". Close the "Control Panel" window. You should now be able to view Scrapbooking.com without any problems.

Notes:
You can return your screen size to its previous amount by following steps 1 - 4 and putting the slider back to its original amount.

Not all computers will be able to change their screen resolution as screen resolution is dependant on the quality of both the monitor and display adapter of your computer.

I'm Having Trouble Viewing Large Layouts

If you are having trouble with viewing the pop-up layout windows, here are a few suggestions to help aleviate your problems:

1. Update your web browser. There are many new technologies that Scrapbooking.com has taken advantage of to enhance your online experience. Additionally, it is always good to keep software current.

2. Use a screen resolution that is comfortable for you. We have found that at Scrapbooking.com a minimun rersolution of 800x600 is needed to allow the pop up windows to fit on the screen.

3. If you are using AOL and you are encountering problems while viewing our web site, please minimize your AOL window and use a standard web browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
